The Champagne Kiss

The Champagne Kiss is a collaboration between Russell White and Grant Reinero, each contributing a style derived from years of recording and performance. White's background as the founding member of outstanding San Diego bands The Shortwave Channel and Camera Obscura combines with Reinero's former affiliation with Spanakorzo, Second Story Window, Candle, and Likemillions to provide a foundation based in creative innovation. The Champagne Kiss builds upon the base of their history with hypnotic songwriting, trance-inducing loops, and sequenced sampling. Their CD was recorded under the watchful ears of Black Heart Procession's Pall Jenkins.
