2001, Thirsty Ear
First solo record from legendary New Zealand rocker. From his days with THE CLEAN, THE BATS, and THE MAGICK HEADS. The Creeping Unknown is a mostly instrumental trip into Robert's vision of the South Island country-side, its vaguely gothic atmospheres displayed through the album title and songs like "Fog and Wind" and "When Shade Was Made". Sweetly spooky, haunting piano lines and guitar fragments. Includes guest playing by David Kilgour, Scott's Clean bandmate.
