2011, Fire Records
The first-ever legitimate collection from these Cleveland underground pioneers that were the precursor to both PERE UBU and the DEAD BOYS. Formed in 1974 by DAVID THOMAS, and featuring PETER LAUGHNER, GENE O'CONNOR (aka CHEETAH CHROME), DAVID BELL, and JOHNNY MADANSKY (aka JOHNNY BLITZ), the group were responsible for the classics "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo," "Final Solution," "Ain't It Fun," "Sonic Reducer," and "Down In Flames," which are all available here along with fourteen other tracks culled from archival live recordings -- many of which have never been released in any form. Packaged with comprehensive liner notes and never-before-seen photos.
