The Fiends

There is more than one artist with this name:

1) On April 1, 1993 The Fiends story really began in the small fishing village of Vancouver, situated on the South West Coast of British Columbia Canada. The Fiends first consisted with Greg Johnson (The Worst) on vocals, Brian Olinek (The Enigmas) on Bass, Dan Small on Guitar, James T Massacre (JP5) on Drums and Johnny 13 Fingers (Color Me Psycho) on organ. This short lasting line up produced there first EP "Zombie A-GO-GO" on Primitive Records weeks later and the line-up curse has haunted them ever since Later that summer after many beers and an organ transplant, thee mighty Sam Salmon. The Fiends had their first full length LP "Zombies Have Feeling Too" written, recorded and mixed for Music Maniac Records in Germany. It was released as volume Twelve of the Teen Trashseries in 1994 and is hard to find in North America. The curse continued in 1995 with the replacement of Dan Small to the Mysterious Vanishing Grog Watson (The Minstrels) on Guitar and Organ. This line up created the LP "In Scario" on Dionysus Records and the EP "She's Not Broken" on Dr. Mushroom Records of Greece. Here we go again, the year 1997. James is replaced with Jayson Solyom (The Spitfires) on Drums and Micheal Meyers takes over the job of pumping the organ. These troublemakers released their second LP on Dionysus Records "Gravedigger" and the EP "She Looks Outta Sight" and the EP "Gravedigger" on Cleavelands Sonic Swirl Records. The band also made it back alive from a trip down the West Coast, playing Seattle, San Francisco, Hollywood and Los Angles. The Fiends are working on a new LP with help of Zippy Pinhead(Dils, DOA, Rick Springfield, and ect), Marcus Finn Lander(Motorama), Chad Homes, Riewurt Burtenaga(Night Stalkers) and Greg Johnson(Worst, Greggie and the Graverobbers). Record in works, and still not dead.

2) The Fiends are a 3-piece pop-punk band.

3) The Fiends were Steven Collins of The Owl Service, Dom Cooper of The Straw Bear Band and Jason Steel. They performed at the Midwich Records Halloween Bash on October 29th 2009, performing cover versions of Danzig songs.
