The Floating City

Until June 2006, they were a band from St. Louis, Missouri. They released an album called "Entering A Contest" in May 2004. They describe their sound as psychedelic/jazz/pop which comes from the voice, drum kit, electric guitar, electric bass, electric piano, acoustic guitar, piano, organ, synthesizer, harpsi-organ, vibraphone, viola, violin, cello, lap steel, Atari synth, vocoder, cellular telephone, bowed saw, gong, egg shaker, flywheel, tambourine, drum machine, processing, sampled instruments & vocals, Emergency Warning System loudspeaker test, aeroplane (propellor), birds chirping, keys, saxophone, swarm of gnats.
