The Foots

RECOMMENDED. Lost & Lonesome Recording Co. (LAL is run by Jane from the Foots and Mark from the Lucksmiths and this is their first release, the second will be an Australian pressing of the Aislers Set's new CD. The Foots are a wonderful three woman rock thing from Melbourne, AUS and have developed a loyal following in Australia and New Zealand through their regular live performances, occasional dance competitions, and cassette releases. Now twelve of their sweet pure pop moments can be heard on the new CD. Unpretentious, and occasionally shambolic, The Foots happily sing of the small things - little incidents in life often overlooked. At many times they conjure up a certain feeling, probably best described as "warm and fuzzy". The Foots are happy with this situation, the guitar and bass intermingling throughout, the drums - however confused - keeping the whole thing moving just right. The Foots are Eva (bass and vocals), Jane (guitar, organ and vocals), and Colleen (drums). We hope you like The Foots as much as we do! - darla
