The Forest Is My Thron

This CD contains demo material by these two pioneering Norwegian black metal bands. From Satyricon, we have the three songs from their second demo, 'The Forest is My Throne', and then a bonus song called 'The Night of The Triumphator', specially recorded for this release, and paying tribute to their influences (which means Bathory and German thrash, going by the sound of the track). Enslaved answer these selections with the six tracks from their 'Yggdrasil' demo, which includes material later released on their first album 'Vikingligr Veldi', but appearing here in much rawer/rougher form.
