2003, Gold Standard Laboratories
The latest hot stuff from GSL. Kill Me Tomorrow produce what you might call "noir wave": a sort of new wave/no wave, goth-tinged, industrial, electro-post punk. Although often compared to classic bands like JOY DIVISION, THE FALL, and SONIC YOUTH, Kill Me Tomorrow have frequently been lauded by critics for their hyper-futuristic, experimental approach to composition and style, influenced by dub, hip-hop, and noise as well as the sparsest elements of pop. The full-length "The Garbageman and the Prostitute" showcases the band's raw, eclectic, art-damaged brand of electropunk.
