2005, Mettray Reformatory Pictures
On this soundtrack, Kid Loco blends hip hop/rock/electronica with a Middle Eastern flare. Moody, beat oriented, guitar-driven electronica best describes the project, which won Best Soundtrack at the 2004 Austin Film Festival. The record features the entire score of what was originally to be a "wall-to-wall" music score to a very unique and uncommonly "visual" film. The Graffiti Artist is the long-awaited follow-up to the widely hailed, international successes' from Another Late Night and his installment of the DJ Kicks series, and with over 79 minutes of original music, eager fans will find a real treat in this groundbreaking, triumphant work. This is very much a Kid Loco record and should be considered both a soundtrack and an official album.
