Together with Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, Oslo's Prins Thomas created the climax of the on-going fascination with retro-futurism with their self-titled debut album for the Belgian Eskimo label. Twenty-five tracks, including the label's über-hits such as Prins Thomas' "Goettsching" and Todd Terje's "Italian Stallion," taken from the much sought-after Eurodans EP, plus a selection of edited and previously-unreleased material. Both CDs feature the most complete and original selection of Oslo's class of 2008, and this sensitive selection of old and new acts such as Mental Overdrive, Ytre Rymden Dansskoola and Kalle, Magnus & Daniel finally justifies all the hype.
