Persons used to be the Lainmeyers, a name which inadvertently influenced the band's infatuation with DEVO, B-52s, Elvis Costello, etc. Their direction under the new moniker recalls the Pixies, Talking Heads, Jonathan Richman & the Modern Lovers, and the Sugarcubes. Sharing members with the likes of CLOCK STRIKES THIRTEEN and Friends of the Library, this trio forges an ecstatic blend of pop, dub, new wave, and punk.
