2004, Self-released
The Last Town Chorus came to be in the spring of 2001 in Brooklyn, New York. After several months of slow-burning hours over old instruments, effects pedals and scrap piles of Megan's lyrics, the sound clicked.
'Moody, warm like old-fashioned lemonade spiked with LSD.' (Village Voice)
'While some local bands garner attention through attitude and looks, others fly low under the radar. The Last Town Chorus is one of those bands. Its music is quiet, and heavy on lapsteel guitar and twilight ambience. Luck for us, the listeners, this is a surer way to our hearts than to a cover of a magazine.' (Time Out New York)
