This little (albeit dense) treat features those ex-Atman project-ers, The Magic Carpathians, from Poland. The most collaborative yet, where we find both bands swapping tracks and rearranging pieces and adding new tracks while changing old ones and havin' just a regular good old time, here in the land of our mutual imprisonment.Incorporating similar influences as on the Ducks and Drakes split CD with Guapo, Cerberus Shoal brings the flavor of Psychic TV and even Can into the Ash-Ra Temple-esque atmosphere of The Magic Carpathians. Track 1 opens with a disjointed introduction to the CD by Cerberus Shoal with tracks 2 and 4 haunting the cinematic landscape of a yet to be realized silent film. Track 3 incorporates all the aspects of what's come before, throwing a little Opal into the stew of influences.
