The Magic Band

A reformed version of the Magic Band, the legendary Captain Beeheart's backing band. Consisting of past members from different eras of the Magic Band's original run, the band was re-formed in 2003 at the urging of Matt Groening for the All Tomorrow's Parties festival. The band consisted of John French (Drumbo) on vocals and drums, Gary Lucas and Denny Walley on guitar and Mark Boston (Rockette Morton) on bass.

The band released one album in 2003. Titled 'Back To Front' it is a recording of a rehearsal prior to their festival performance.
