The Maldives

This marks the self-titled debut album from The Maldives on Homegrown Records. In the tradition of The Band, Neil Young, and Bruce Springsteen, The Maldives combine the highs and the lows of rock, country, and folk to create their own formidable brand of Americana music. Recorded and mixed at Vibe Central Studio by Dave Matthies (The Microphones, Little Wings, Laura Veirs) and featuring guest musicians from numerous Seattle bands (Red Stars Theory, Tim Seely, Odessa, Whalebones), The Maldives have forged a new and exciting union between singer-songwriter and band, producing an ageless collection of songs.
