"Constants fall somewhere between The Appleseed Cast and Explosions in the Sky (with vocals). The music is long and layered and can really suck you in. It's nothing to lose 13 minutes of your time by getting lost in the title track. The songs may be long, but they all go somewhere and you never feel like you're not high enough to really appreciate it. Admittedly, I can't give the actual musicianship justice through my words, because I would need a serious Guitar Hero to transcribe it for me.
