The Nature of Maps

VINYL FORMAT. This classic title is finally being given a proper release on 180-gram audiophile vinyl. The LP also includes a coupon for free digital download of the album. 2002 has been whirlwind year for Matt Pond PA. The year kicked off in January with the release of The Green Fury-- Matt Pond PA 's third album. Following that was non-stop touring including headlining the U.S. and touring with 764-HERO. Continuing on their year-long rampage, the band is releasing their fouth album, The Nature of Maps, this October. This record builds on the Matt Pond PA strategy: write beautiful songs with guitar/vocals, drums, bass; then add cello, violin, and vibraphone arrangements. After spending the first half of the summer in the studio, they are eager to get back on the road to support the new album.
