You'd never have guessed that three brothers from Wakefield would be the first band to successfully fuse The Smiths, The Supremes and Slim Moon. They could make a living selling their hooks to lesser artistes, but instead they choose to spend their lives in a police-riot van bringing their thing to the kids and making their heroes proud. Dorian SlaybodI received the single for "Mirror Kisses" a few months before listening to this album and was blown away. The unabated, raw fun of that single is undeniable. The full album however, is a bit misguided. Songs mostly fail to hook and you are left without a new favorite band, just a new favorite single.
