San Diego's CAMERA OBSCURA formed in 1998 from the ashes of such local bands as SPANAKORZO (Wrenched Record/Three One G), THE SHORTWAVE CHANNEL (Wrenched Records) and INTERSTATE 10. Fusing the contemporary angular sounds of their regional post hardcore peers (all the above mentioned bands, as well as CLIKITAT IKATOWI, DRIVE LIKE JEHU, and THE CRIMSON CURSE) with synthetic, mesmerizing synths and a thunderous rhythm section. This is their last and final installment as a band. Previously released on Insound Tour Support Series No. 13, Three One G considers these to be the best two songs to come out of CAMERA OBSCURA in their 2 year life span.
