2011, Music Man (Belgium)
Taking various leaves from such artists as Sly Stone, Grace Jones and David Bowie, Green Velvet entered the live arena in 1994, where his outrageous green wig and headphone diatribe drawl brought his unique style to a new audience under the official banner of house music's No. 1 nutter. Whilst the world's dancefloors and festivals were slipping into something Velvety, Curtis Jones was releasing blistering techno/house/nu-wave hybrid records that seemed to constantly up the ante: 'Flash', 'Destination Unknown', 'Land of The Lost', 'The Stalker' and 'Leave My Body' threw the floor into chaos. The Nineties (1993-1999) is a full-flash snapshot of one of the most original and inspirational dance music artists to emerge from planet Earth.
