The Pupils
There are at least two artist sharing this name.
A side project of Daniel Higgs and Asa Osborne, members of the long-running underground Baltimore rock band Lungfish, utilising a more stripped down folk approach than the monolithic riffing of Lungfish. Comprised of mostly guitar and vocal, with some lo-fi sound effects and cheap drum machines used sparingly. There is more tenderness in this music, as well as some more feral psych-out moments.
A Polish teen pop band of the same name was formed in 2009 in Poznan. It features 5 singers: three girls (Zosia, Kasia and Dominika) and two boys (Olek and Pawel).
