The Runaway Found

The Veils have been likened to The Verve, Doves, Starsailor, and Morrissey, and while you can hear these influences in their music, they are undoubtedly original and destined to be one to watch. The 20-year-old Finn Andrews, the lead singer and son of XTC's Barry Andrews, has a raw, gravelly voice that adds a certain punch to the band's tortured songs (ballads and rockers alike). The Times nailed it when they said of The Veils: "Vintage Bunnymen with added sonic oomph."
