2009, Afternoon Records
After We All Have Hooks for Hands' inception in a Sioux Falls, SD apartment, they quickly recorded an EP and fled to the West Coast with it. After coming back from a stint of shows, We All Have Hooks for Hands began recording their first full-length album, The Pretender. Their sophomore album, The Shape of Energy, is about to take the reins after almost two years in the making. With hook after hook surrounding lo-fi brilliance, and a slew of tour dates taking We All Have Hooks for Hands on tour for the better part of the year, The Shape of Energy will surely be taking Hooks to new heights.
