Insomnia Radio said, "Imagine comic-book versions of Mudhoney and The Cars, drunk in a basement, and you've got The Slats. And thank the indie gods they're here. "Call My Telephone" is from their October 3 2006 release "Boom Patrol" and it manages to pay sufficient homage to Rick Springfield, while still capturing a fresh air of originality, something this band is dripping with."
