The Sticks, the fourth studio album from avant pop quintet Mother Mother, is the band's most tenacious and undaunted record to date, offring up eccentric, hook-laden pop-meets-rock songs. The album upholds Mother Mother's tradition of tri-harmony vocal arrangements and dynamic instrumentation. Lyrically, the album is also the group's most cohesive and conceptual thus far.
