The Transient

Welcome to David Dondero¹s latest full-length recording, "The Transient." The title suits the songs. It's about the road, death, love, loss, blur, glory, hopelessness, and all that goes along with this music traveling life. The highs and lows of touring, the roller coaster ride of the performer. It's about living in your truck and making no money, yet doing it anyway. A lot of Dondero¹s friends helped on this record, including Craig D. on drums, Tiffany Kowalski (Bright Eyes, Lullaby for the Working Class, Head of Femur) on violin, Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes, Desparacidos) sang backups, Jason Anderson (Wolf Colonel) played keys, Casey Scott (Bright Eyes, Desparacidos, Drip) played bass, Mike Mogis played keys, glockenspiel, and slide.
