The Wicked

VINYL FORMAT. Originally self-released in 2002 and out of print until now, Funeral Diner's "The Wicked" EP is now reissued via Alone Records with new artwork and an unreleased song from the same recording session. These tracks capture the different sides of the band, from the building, almost Slint-esque instrumental opener, to the all out pummel of the title track, to the acutely dynamic "End On 6" and its dark, jazzy interludes punctuated by raw, flailing bursts of churning guitars and screaming.
