Blank-Wave Arcade (CD)
Stark and uncompromising, The Faint are back with their second full-length. Electronic, darkwave pop, with plenty of confessionals and come-ons. Their hypnotizing keyboard tantrums and unique, straightforward lyrics, which explored the intricacies of personal interactions, pricked the ears of the underground. A reinvention of their sound.

| This is the best Faint cd. It's not "over-produced" like Danse Macabre but it's still electro-clash. Don't let that Get Up Kids comparison by the reviewer below scare you. A more accurate comparison would just be New Order, not that their recycling old stuff (well they kind of are, but they're original enough). Anyways, get this cd, it's good. | |
