Middle Class Revolt (CD)
Originally released through Matador Records in 1994, this album is a typical Fall outing filled with sarcasm, vigor and fury. The band experiments with techno, tapes and the usual sparse rock arrangements. Highlights feature cover versions of Henry Cow's "War" and The Monks "Shut Up". Other noteworthy songs include the popish "Behind The Counter" and the enraged "Hey! Student", a rewrite of the band's "Hey! Fascist" from 1977. The bonus disc features John Peel sessions along with rare singles, remixes and alternate versions of tracks from the album.
