Moon Country (CD)
Montreal's The High Dials have unleashed more of their neo-psychedelic pop on their new independently released album Moon Country. The album was produced by Joseph Donovan (Sam Roberts, The Dears) and was recorded in a stone cottage in Ireland and the band's hometown. Moon Country will simulate a vinyl LP by placing silence between "Seagull Blues" and "Open Up The Gates" to split the record into two "sides." "We like having silence between two pieces of music, the way it used to be on LPs," the band wrote in a MySpace blog entry. "In our minds, this is not a double album, however on vinyl it will probably need two records." -indiepassion.blogspot.com
