The follow-up release to last year's Tallahassee is the most accessible and commercial record of their notable career. John Darnielle and Peter Hughes joined forces with Franklin Bruno, Christopher McGuire, and Nora Danielson for the ten-day recording session. Recorded at Bear Creek studios in Washington State and produced by John Vanderslice (with whom they spent months on tour this past year).
