We are proud to announce the release of "On TV," the first Lookout! effort from Baltimore, MD's The Oranges Band. Lookout! President Christopher Appelgren was a fan of Oranges' singer/guitar player Roman Kuebler from his work in The Thumbs. So when Appelgren received the new recordings from The Oranges Band, he immediately freaked out and began playing it for everyone at the label. General freakout and enthusiasm ensued. On "On TV," you may hear many references -- some Velvet Underground, some Smiths, maybe some James, and maybe even some Strokes -- but none of them do the band justice. Their jangly yet driving guitars, intensely heavy melody, and pounding drums are tied together by the incredibly unique vocal style of Roman Kuebler. Trust us, the Oranges Band are destined for greatness.
