The Prids return with a small record full of big sounds. Following their excellent debut Love Zero, this new seven-inch shows the band moving forward as they fully develop their rock-infused dance tunes. Laying the groundwork for their next full length, the Shadows seven-inch continues the band's defining sound while separating themselves from their influences and moving into a sound uniquely their own. More complex guitar riffs are combined with ass-shaking rhythms just begging for the volume to be cranked up. And in a crappy world we here at Luminal believe ultimately that's all you've got. Yeah, we know there's a lot of shit out there now a days -- and it's a shame. But take a deep breath, pop pills if you must, put the record on, blast your speakers, and dance away the heartache.
