Beaks to the Moon (CD)
Formed in 2001 in Brooklyn, The Shivers are an ever changing music collective that play out in NYC. With styles ranging from rap to folk and jazz to R&B, The Shivers sound is not an easy one to pin down. The Shivers have just completed their first proper album Beaks to the Moon, recorded at the famous Loho Studios. The album is distinctive in that it marks a new songwriter to the mix in pianist/vocalist Jo Schornikow.

| A stunning to form for the shivers. Really great from start to finish. I love the track "Only Mine" and "I Wish I Was Never Born". Sets a mood nicely. Saw these guys live and it's a great show. Highly recommended. | |

| I just got this album as recommended by a friend. I am very glad I did, from the start it's pretty amazing. The 1st song, "I Wish I Was Never Born", really got me...something so sad about it but really beautiful stuff. There is a lot of mood throughout this album. I really like the singer's voice and the songs by the female compliment the album nicely. It's one of those albums that kind of comes out of nowhere and really sticks with you. | |
