This is now! Right now! After a two-and-a-half-year absence, Kent, Ohio's the Six Parts Seven have returned to reclaim rock 'n' roll. To have at all the hearts and minds and ears willing to have them. With "Everywhere and Right Here," they have created an album about immediacy and, to a degree, about love. About how things -- relationships, adventures, ideas even -- begin, or rather how they feel in the beginning. How it feels to be actualized by someone or because of something. Ohio's finest instrumental outfit returns with their signature lush and leading compositions. Eight new tracks drowning in dark and lowly melodies that play in your head like a movie soundtrack to most any of your days. Haunting post-rock with a compelling and wholly inescapable moodiness. To be an instrumental band is to take on an extra challenge, and since 1995, THE SIX PARTS SEVEN have risen to the occasion. Long awaited and heavily delayed, this CD is sure to bring you down. Nine depressing instrumental numbers not unlike the Durutti Column or other Factory Records-esque bands. 'Silence Magnifies Sound' is introspective without being corny emo, techical without being boring math rock.
