Skyscraper zine reviews it this way: "I know very little about Johnny Angel as a band other than that there's ex-members of Unbroken (I believe Dave plays guitar). This is mostly due to the fact that all we got to review was some religious tape with Johnny Angel recorded over it because I don't think the Cd's have been made yet and this is what Beibin sent us. Despite the shitty Tape recording and lack of anything else, I can tell you that this rocks in an insane way. Crazy, schizophrenic, chaotic hardcore that pulses and squirms and rages like hurricaine force wind. Spastic as fuck, every much like Swing Kids but even noisier and more aggressive. They said it themselves "Fucked Up but cool fucked up".
