2004, LTM
Reissue of the superb second album from North American singer-songwriter Anna Domino, originally released by Les Disques du Crepuscule in 1987. "This Time" was the follow-up to Anna’s acclaimed self-titled debut, re-released on CD earlier in 2004. The album marked the debut of her enduring songwriting partnership with Michel Delory, and was produced by Flood (Depeche Mode, U2).
The album was less groove-orientated than its predecessor and instead offered stronger, more direct songs delivered in a variety of styles, be they uptempo dance tracks, ballads, or country-folk. "This Time" saw Anna truly at the top of her game. The five bonus cuts include non-album tracks from singles including the lost classic "Hammer" and an alternative version of "Tempting" produced by former Associate Alan Rankine. The CD has been remastered from the original tapes, includes 15 tracks, and runs for 70 minutes. The revised artwork features an evocative portrait by Madoka. The booklet includes detailed sleevenotes.
