2011, One Little Indian
Recorded live to tape in just four days by the legendary John Reis (Rocket from the Crypt/Hot Snakes), the debut album from Exeter's The Computers is a garage-punk tour-de-force, grabbing you by the throat from the first bars of the opener, "Where Do I Fit In?" on through the thrusting discordance of "Hot Damocles" to the 12-bar strut of "The Queen in 3D" – never giving you room to catch a breath. The Computers play sartorially-snappy supersonic rhythm and blues with larynx-shredding vocals: this is punk that adres to have a swing in its step; hardcore that knows all the Northern Soul moves.
