This Computer Kills (CD)
RESTOCK. At the time of their debut full-length recording, Jeff (Drums), Josh (Guitar/Vocals), and Nick (Bass/Vocals), were still doing their homework to finish high school in the slot-machine city known as Reno, Nevada. Among the glitter and spectacle of the nearby casinos, THIS COMPUTER KILLS was born in the garage during after school get-togethers to create noise. This debut self-titled release is a combination of dueling vocals, breathless screaming, complex basslines, and high-strung guitar melodies, set to a driving punk rock beat. Think indie rock meets punk rock. You'll find influences by MOSS ICON, DRIVE LIKE JEHU, 400 YEARS, THE CONVOCATION OF..., GANG OF FOUR, AT THE DRIVE-IN, ANTI-FLAG, REFUSED, KILL SADIE, early UNWOUND, and other early punk rock bands.
