Lullabye Arkestra, the husband and wife duo of Kat Taylor-Small (bass and vocals) and Justin Small (drums and vocals), have been steadily pounding out their raucous breed of gritty, stripped-down hard rock for the better part of a decade, adding and subtracting members throughout the years. For this album, the follow-up to 2006's Ampgrave (Constellation Records), the happy couple stripped the format down to just the two of them.
