Throne of Blood (The Jump Off)

VINYL FORMAT. The title track is a random piece of awkward brooding math punk, falsetto vocals, and scratchy repetitive guitar work all mashed together with some thunderous drumming and God knows what else. The time signatures in this controlled and in some ways mildly subdued song are really off kilter - it's not gonna be a floor filler, that's for sure. The flipside features "The Duel Of Iron Mike" which is pretty much more of the same, though slightly more intense and straight to the point. It's strange as it almost feels like samples are plugged in here and there, although apparently they're not. For a 3-piece, this lot sure know how to make a racket!
