2005, Durtro/Jnana
New double-CD version of the folk-noir classic, "Thunder Perfect Mind." Disc one includes remastered tracks from the originals; disc two has different versions (live or studio), recorded around the same time and previously released on the now-unavailable "As The World Disappears" and "Emblems" (with the exception of "Red House"). Recorded using a giant array of band members, this release includes Michael Cashmore, Douglas P., Karl Blake, Rose McDowall, John Balance, Steve Stapleton, Edward Ka-Spel, Nick Saloman...basically a who's who of underground music. Together they created some of the best simple, dark, sad folk songs (as well as a few experimental ones). One of the most significant C93 albums and a great introduction to David Tibet's 40+ album discography.
