As the price of home recording became cheap in the early '90s, it was possible for bands to record at home and get their music out to friends more easily than ever. Tiny labels and bands sprung up all over America and an indie renaissance was born. Of course, over time, many of the singles and albums have fallen into obscurity, waiting to be rediscovered by a new audience. That's where Tiny Idols comes in. This series of compilations explores the best out-of-print and obscure tracks from the '90s, an era rich with pioneering bands and a DIY spirit. Vol. 3 features twenty-two indie-pop and indie-rock nuggets spanning 1991 to 1995.
