Baleine 3000 is DJ Afrojaws from Qubo Gas (Lille, France), MC Illreme (Tokyo, Japan) and producer Laurent Baudoux (Brussels, Belgium). The group is lead by Baudoux, also a member of Scratch Pet Land (with his younger brother DJ Elephant Power) and the notorious Fan Club Orchestra, as well as the producer for Sun OK Papi K.O. The music of Baleine 3000 has a southern wind; one can feel the influences of Baile Funk, African new beat or Miami old-school bass music. The BPMs range from 129 and 140 and the digital gets hot, filled up with MC Illreme's indescribable Japanese toasting.

Tour Manager compiles former vinyl-only releases, new songs and, as a bonus, features MC Illreme's tracks from Sun OK Papi K.O.'s Orchestre Philharmonok. Originally released in a limited edition for the group's 2010 Japan tour, it is now available in North America for the first time.
