Tout Seul dans la Forêt en Plein Jour, Avez-Vous Peur?

Translated as "Alone in the forest in the middle of the day, are you scared?" This is the latest musical project from Genevieve Castree, a native of Quebec who moved to the US in 2004 and has spent her time trying to follow what's happening in this country and all around her. The music is dark and insistent, yet still has some hope left in its vocal chords that gives it its spine. This is a record about present times, but may very well be about what has happened in the past and what might just happen again in the future. Are you scared? The entire record is sung in French, with a book of English translations and illustrations.
