Danielson initially was a family group. Oldest brother, Daniel, provided songs borne forth from divine inspiration and solidified by the group's spontaneous interpretations. Originally the result of the oldest brother Daniel's senior thesis with a lineup of guitar, bells, drums, vocals and organ, the family added the sounds of the flute, violin, banjo, bass, and trombone to different parts of their music.
