(1) Tugboat is one of the performing names of Jesse Novak (aka J-no), used for songs composed in 8-bit style and for live shows where he plays along to these compositions on the drums.

(2) Tugboat are a three-piece indie pop band from Melbourne, Australia.
The members are Jim Dean (vocals & guitar), Bek Varcoe (vocals & drums) and Jeremy Smith (bass & electronics). They formed in 1999 and have released two albums and two EPs.

(3) Tugboat were a lo-fi indierock outfit from Trondheim, Norway. They released a split EP with Attack (From The Vault, 1998), a split 7" with Null$katte$nylterne (Shake Hands And Be FriendsWith Prudence, 1999) and two albums (Tugboat, 2000 and Royal Flux, 2002).
