VINYL FORMAT. This is an extended version of the U.S. Pop Life compilation. Volume 2 in this 12" series focuses on the U.S.-based duo Alder & Elius who personify the harder side of electronica. Two musicians whose sounds caught of Skam Records and Ghostly international who showcased their various moods, styles, and twisted sense of humor. Their unique collection of rapid fire beats, filtered down-tempo grooves, and orchestrated melodies also can be experienced at their live shows:from bizarre coversof artists anywhere from Prince to Journey, performed with a karaoke-esque fervor, brief glimpses of nudity that keeps the crowd entertained.
