Nothing sounds quite like The Afghan Whig's raw, unflinching music, which has amassed a large and loyal cult following over the years. This is their first ever compilation and it is an extraordinary portrait of one of American rock's most distinctive bands.

The Whigs are an amazing band, with an outstanding catalog. But few facts got the B+, first, the non-chronological listing is alomst unbearable! The album begins, you're in awe, you get a juvenile (not saying no good!) "Retarded" followed by "Crazy" (from their latest work) and the compilation goes on like this for 18 songs.

I know Dulli's the soul, but when you listen to the 2 new songs, these are not Whigs songs... They are Twilight Singer's ones, and no one can deny it. I'm a huge Dulli fan ok, but these songs are no good, not even for a Twilight album! "I'm A Soldier" for example has a great verse potentiel, but when it comes to the chorus, it all goes down! "Magazine"; is pretty much the same! The noise comes from a Twilight song.
Nothing can beat a good ole' Whigs album, not even a probably intense reunion!!!
