Universal Soldier

VINYL FORMAT. Tracks: "Universal Soldier" b/w "It Hurts Me Too." First Aid Kit are comprised of seventeen and twenty year old sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg from Sweden. We were able to catch them for a recording session when they came through town recently touring in support of their debut album The Big and The Black. For their Blue Series, they laid down two spine-tingling covers; Buffy Sainte-Marie's "Universal Soldier" and "It Hurts Me Too," which was made famous by Elmore James - but it's Karen Dalton's haunting version that First Aid Kit channels here.
